Like many of you I haven't had any of the normal ncraves since the beginning of the year, and if they do show up I get the dreaded "Sorry this activity isn't available right now" message. The first time I had seen this was last night, but when I click on "Laptop Guy" I get a message that states with a yellow background " Sorry, this offer is no longer available. Please check back at a later time. " at the top of the page. If I use the link of the front page of this sub reddit to access laptop guy directly; he'll show up, but any auto commercial type videos will not play. (flash is updated as are all plugins) A couple of timed slides will play as i click through the 10-12 pages with the countdown timer, and I may get a couple SB, but then they will all dry up I'll be left with the "There are no activities available message".It does not matter which browser I use, and I have tried two separate computers. Is anyone else getting this now? I would like to think this is just a maintenance error, and I have had a premature, knee-jerk reaction assuming the worst. However, I seriously doubt it with the way things have turned out this year so far.
I'm sorry I'm not one of the "cool kids" that Swagbucks wants around anymore. I barely qualify for surveys, and the mobile apps and the random offer that actually credits are all I seem to have left if this has been removed as a potential earning option. I have been an active member since 2014. I don't break the rules, and keep ad blockers off. I used to get a dollar or rarely two dollars a day, so I wasn't soaking up all the ads out of the "pool" of ads circulating on Swagbucks that day. I would do a couple hours of clicking(two, maybe three at most) and be done for the day. I don't get it but it looks like I am being shown the door, or being allowed very "limited" access. I just don't get it. Also, for those that say it is purely IP based i have tried it at two different friend's house(and a family member out of state) and get similar experiences with Ncrave as well. I am being targeted by username or some other method. Even Earnhoney(my machine was rated a 1 and I hadn't logged in over a month) and perk hate me. No ads for me there either the past couple of days. I mainly stick with Swagbucks, but I temporary migrated over there to see if i could get better results. I don't know if it is bad luck or something more sinister at play...
Yeah, this is a kind of a "Waah, woe is me!" self-pity post, and I'll get over it eventually, even if this is just the harsh new reality of earning sites. It just sucks to be targeted when you have respectfully used the site for a couple of years, recommended by word of mouth to others, always kind no matter what the response I get from customer support, -- and then suddenly get blacklisted without any explanation. It's like being banned without actually literally being banned. It feels a bit cliquish to be honest. It's like a party you can see in the distance, but "Sorry! You're not one of the "chosen" ones who was invited. Maybe next time".*snicker* You know there may never be a "next time". It's just a very sour way of doing business is my opinion.
Anyway, to end this overly long post if you have encountered these issues like myself please let me know. I can't imagine I am the only one. If I am being pushed out of Swagbucks and any other GPT site, and end up leaving at some point, it's not really my choice at this point. It's theirs.
