super pop quiz login error

for the past day or two, i have been unable to login to super pop quiz on my android phone. when i enter my username and password, it says "sorry! an error occurred." restarting the app and restarting the phone do not resolve the error.

i have not changed anything on the phone, so i don't believe the error is at my end.
