/u/Mikazah's Beermoney Recommendations

Hello!

I’ve been doing beermoney sites for over ten years now. I started “beermoney” before /r/beermoney even was made, and long before I ever came across the subreddit. If you don’t know what beermoney is, I recommend checking out this FAQ.

Definitions for common terms can be found here.

This list is a mix of my favorite sites. I use a lot more sites than these, but I picked out the best sites out of the ones I use.

Note: This post covers more than just /r/beermoney topics. Do not take this post as an example of what you're allowed to post on /r/beermoney.

Easy One-Time Things

Coinbase

Get crypto (and exchange it for cash right away) for watching short videos and answering a couple questions. New stuff isn't added too often, but it's definitely worth keeping an eye on. I've gotten a couple hundred dollars for just a few minutes of my time. And yes, I know, this sounds sketchy as hell. Basically, they're giving out crypto in hopes that it will catch on and become popular. A lot of new crypto does this, but since these are listed on coinbase's market, you can exchange it for money and withdrawal to your bank or PayPal right away.

Note: You will be required to show your photo ID and a picture of yourself holding it for verification. Also, some users have claimed that using a referral link will let you skip the wait queue. Otherwise, you may be required to wait a few days/weeks.

Best GPT Sites

Swagbucks

This is one of the oldest and most well known GPT sites around. I joined years ago, and it's the one GPT site I always end up coming back to. Their offer walls are fairly low paying (use one of the sites below), but they have some unique opportunities that make their site worth signing up on.

  • Paid Offers — Spend $ and get $$ back. You can find these on the front page.

  • nCraves — These are videos or autosurfers. There are a handful of nCraves with an orange repeat symbol on them which will continuously play. They don't award much, but it's a nice passive option.

  • Coupons — You often can get 1-2 cents per coupon printed up to 25 or 50 prints per day. You also get 25 cents back every time you use the coupons. They use the coupon.com router, so you’re bound to find something useful. Pair these coupons with the receipt apps below for maximum benefit.

  • Extension — Their extension can be a bit annoying at times, but it's great for reminding me to use coupons and get cash back on websites. They don't always have the highest rates, but it’s worth using their extension just to be reminded about it. You also get notices when they have a promo code.

A few other things worth mentioning are their video apps, easy games, random points for using their search engine, and they give a 12% discount once per month when redeeming a $25 reward.

GG2U

This is another GPT site, which is turning out to be one of my favorites. The owner's a pretty good guy and is always willing to help out and answer questions. There are a handful of offer walls, some of which I've never seen on other sites. This site has some of the highest paying offer walls I've seen, and they even have a bonus prize every time you make 5 payout requests. Their website is a little iffy looking, and certain things can be a bit hard to navigate, but overall it is one of the better GPT sites I’ve used.

Note: They have higher earning rates on their premium site. Sign up under my link to be invited to the premium version.

Best Receipt Scanning / Rebate Apps

Ibotta

If I had to only pick one receipt app, I would choose Ibotta. They have a lot of name brand rebates, regular freebies, and $0.25 back on any item rebates. When combining coupons and other rebate apps, I often times get groceries for next to nothing or even make money.

Fetch Rewards – Referral Code: V3DVK

This app is great if you purchase a lot of well-known name brand items, but it’s also good if you make a lot of small shopping trips. They give you points for every receipt scanned, and you get bonus points for buying certain well known brands such as A1, Cool Whip, Dove, etc.

Trunow Referral code: 1JB4LF

This app is for scanning gas receipts. It pays 0.5%, so that’s $0.10 on every $20. It’s not a lot, but it’s really quick and works for every gas station I’ve tried. They also give a few points for confirming or changing nearby gas station prices through their app.

Coinout

This app takes nearly every receipt. It only pays a couple cents per receipt, but it’s definitely nice not having to think about whether I purchased qualifying items or not.

If you want to learn more about these sites or other receipt apps, check out this post.

Best Video Sites

Koinme

This is definitely my preferred video website. It gives a decent amount, and the only time I ever need to reset it is when my computer crashes. It’s the lowest effort site I use. They often have their registration closed though, so you may have to wait to be invited.

Earnhoney

This site can be hit or miss. I couldn’t earn a thing for a few years, and then out of no where I was able to make a few bucks every day. Definitely give it a try, but move on if you’re only getting a couple points each day.

Best Game Sites

Gamekit

This site has quite a few offers, and they regularly get more. I get games on here that I don’t find on hardly any other sites. Most of the games tasks only take a few minutes, and they’re usually pretty easy.

Gamehag

This site is like Gamekit. It has a few of the same games and quite a few different ones. They don’t pay quite as much, but you can usually do the tasks on both sites anyways.

If you want to learn more about these sites or other gaming sites, check out this post.

Best Sites for Short Tasks

Tellwut – This site gives a handful of short polls each day.

Crowdtap – Another site for short polls and questions.

Chrono.gg – Check in each day to earn points. The only rewards are a handful of lesser known Steam games, but every so often they get something interesting. I usually get the games with Steam Trading Cards and then sell the cards. Another option would be to sell the keys.

Mturk – Microtasks. I mostly stick to surveys, but that’s only because I hate doing microtasks. Check out /r/mturk for more info.

Other Great Sites & Ways of Earning

Usertesting – Usability testing. They pay $10 for a 15-20 minute session where you record your screen and review a website.

/r/FreeGamesOnSteam – I get games from here and then sell the Steam Trading Cards. The profit is very low, but I usually do this when watching a movie or when I’m too tired to focus on things.

Pinecone Research – Surveys. These guys very rarely recruit new users, and they only do it through special recruitment banners on GPT sites and blogs. They pay $3 per survey (which usually take <15 min), and you only get a couple per month. Definitely worth it if you can get in, but be aware that you have to do the surveys they send you within a couple days or you’ll be dropped from the program.

”I heard you make a lot with surveys! Why aren’t they on here?”

Most of the survey sites I use are closed invitation. I got into these after doing a survey or focus group on some other site. That being said, Mturk, Prolific, and Pinecone Research are some of the better paying options.
