Perk/Viggle vs EarnHoney vs EngageMeTV vs instaGC vs Grabpoints vs KoinMe vs VideoLab vs VideoLoyalty vs ToolbarTV vs nCrave - Where should your computers be? (Best Passive Video Sites 2017)

Hey guys!

This is quite possibly the most requested post people have asked me to make. I've been putting it off for quite a while because I was waiting for RewardableTV to release their site for earnings, but I have a feeling that they won't be doing that any time soon since it's taken so long already.

This post is a copy and paste from the previous post, but I've edited information that has changed. If you want to see how these sites have changed since the previous post 8 months ago, feel free to compare notes. The biggest changes since the previous post are that SuperRewards and NADAMobile are no longer alive. Since the previous post I have added KoinMe, VideoLab, VideoLoyalty, and the Swagbucks videos (ToolbarTV + nCrave).

As always, even though this is a comparison and I like to keep things more factual than personal experience based, just remember that YMMV always. Also don't be afraid of trying a site listed here even though I think it is shit. It could very possibly be your favorite site.

Perk.tv / Viggle.tv

Perk is not only a huge mobile rewards beast. Now they have expanded onto desktop to try and boost your earnings! For the simplicity of making this post, I am combining Perk.TV and Viggle.TV into one. They are both owned by Perk, and they both act about the same.

Pros of Perk

  • Allowed to use multiple windows/tabs (each tab = a device, but be careful)
  • Points earned on Perk.tv/Viggle.tv add to your perk balance.
  • Lots of ads.

Cons of Perk

  • "Are you still watching" after 20-30 minutes.
  • There are a lot of pop up ads and banners that really slow the site down.
  • Some videos are just really long (~3-5 minutes). This hurts earnings.

Minimum Cashout: $0.25 for certain gift cards. $5 for gift cards without fees. $0.50-$2 for instant PayPal.

Reward Processing Speed: This earns 5 stars mainly because they offer different methods of withdrawals that have differing speeds. 1-3 days for gift cards and non-instant PayPal. (Monday, Wednesday, Friday). Instant for Perk Plastik or Instant PayPal.

Amount You Make: I think a lot of people are starting to overlook Perk.TV/Viggle.TV. I've personally found that right now they are quite possibly the highest paying video sites. Right now the average video (if an ad was before it) pays out anywhere from 1-5 perk points. You'll most frequently get paid 2-3 points, with a 4 here and there, and an occasional 1 or 5 pointer. Here's some numbers.

From my experience you'll average about 2.6 points per video. The average video length is ~45 seconds. In the app trailers section you'll find videos ranging from 15 seconds to as long as over 2 minutes. The best thing about Perk/Viggle is that they have an ad pool that is much larger that other sites. You'll find different ads on Perk/Viggle than you'll find on the ad pool that everyone else seems to pull from. Without a doubt this does cause earnings to increase. We'll assume a 30 second ad (though you will find some ads that are longer, probably about a minute. you can skip), plus a 45 second video and roughly 10 seconds for misc. loading, you'll earn about 2.6 points every 1:25. Comparing to other sites which average a payout of ~2.666, this is pretty damn close, and you'll find it to be a lot more consistent. The biggest issue with Perk/Viggle that will cause your earnings to be very low is because of its Run Time. Without factoring in the Run Time, you'll probably find Perk/Viggle to be your highest earners.

Run Time: Perk/Viggle really have low run times now. Depending on the system you are running the videos on, you may find the site crashing frequently due to the many ads on the site, which will requite a reload of the page. Before you hit the crashing point, you'll likely bump into an annoying 'AYSW' that will pop up after about 30 minutes to an hour. This is extremely annoying, and there's no way really around this. That brings all your earnings to a grinding halt.

EarnHoney

Earnhoney was the first site to introduce autoplay videos (please correct me if I am incorrect [This was in the post from 8 months ago. Nobody has corrected me yet]). The site is often very recommended due to its higher payouts per video and impressive run time.

Pros of EarnHoney

  • Runs like a champ.
  • No "AYSW".

Cons of EarnHoney

  • Payouts are very slow (without VIP)
  • Penalty for unverified PayPals.
  • Terrifying ad drought for a lot of people.

Minimum cashout: $5 to Amazon/PayPal. Seems average to me.

Reward Processing Speed: Earnhoney has always had really slow reward processing times. Officially they send out payments on Mondays and Fridays. Submissions between Friday to Monday will be delivered on the following Friday. Submissions between Tuesday to Thursday will be delivered on the following Monday. The best day to redeem is on a Thursday. They just recently have introduced Earnhoney VIP which allows you to redeem for 'instant HD$' which isn't really instant since I've been waiting for my $5 Visa card for over two days now. The good news is that they plan on increasing their speed of payouts, so depending on when you're reading this post, there's a chance they've upgraded to a faster payment system.

Amount you make: The amount Earnhoney will pay you does vary, but the site average seemed to always be around 2 nectar ($0.002) per video. If you do the social media 5%(edit since 8 months ago, nerfed) 2% rebate when you redeem, you are essentially making $0.0021$0.00204 per video. The videos are usually only around one minute in length, so this will also allow earnings to go up a bit. Also since EarnHoney runs for so long, you will notice an increase in earnings because of that as well. The big issue that will cause earnings to hurt is that Earnhoney often suffers from the biggest ad 'soft bans'. You'll find a lot of times that people will claim to have no ads available to them on Earnhoney. There's a chance you can fix it by using a BuzzTV site.

Run Time: Some people think that Earnhoney is very consistent and can run for hours on end, while others will say otherwise. What I have noticed is that the site does not crash (unless you try running too many windows), and is consistent in that aspect, but it does sometimes have issues finding any ads, which can cause the pages to get stuck and your earnings will die because of this. Reloading the page manually can sometimes fix the issue... Either way, very impressive run times.

EngageMeTV

*EngageMeTV is a rather new player to the game. It can be found on *almost any site's Adwall offerwall, and does pay varying rates depending on what site you are earning on. **

I do want to promote a couple of my favorite sites that have ETV that actually are very high paying as well ($0.008 per 3 ads as of post). For the highest as of post payouts, check out Earnably and GrindaBuck.

Pros of EngageMeTV

  • Works on almost any site you already use and enjoy (PrizeRebel, InstaGC, Swagbucks, +hundreds more).
  • The site you are earning on sets the payout rates. Encourages competition.

Cons of EngageMeTV

  • Jesus ETV is fucking good

Minimum Cash Out: The points you earn on EngageMeTV will automatically go into the account balance of the site you earned it on. For example, we'll take Earnably. Once you watch three video, you will have 0.80 points added to your account. The minimum cashout depends on the site you are earning on. Earnably has a minimum of $1, but other sites have different minimums.

Reward Processing Speed: Again, this depends on the site you complete the offer on. InstaGC pays instantly, but other sites could take longer.

Amount You Make: We'll do all of this based on Earnably/GrindaBuck's payout of $0.0080 per 3 ads. All of the videos on ETV are anywhere from 30 seconds to 2 minutes, with the average being around 1 minute. As long as there was an ad (15-30 seconds on average) before the video, you will earn credit. You can probably get one completion (3 watches) every 5-10 minutes, but it does depend on ad availability. If you're finding that one playlist does not have very many ads, I would recommend checking other playlists to see if you have any better luck. All playlists have similar video times at this point. You can use a maximum of 3 devices for ETV (and 3 phones on the app).

Run Time: Most people will find that ETV can run for about 2-3 hours and then you'll get an AYSW pop up, and possibly a captcha. The site is very stable and won't likely crash often. Most computers can reach the AYSW before crashing.

InstaGC

InstaGC is a classic offer site where you can complete offers to earn free instant gift cards. Last year the site added auto play videos to help increase your earnings. You can now access these videos at instagc.com/watch.

I'm going to do a lot of strikethroughs for this one just to show how much has changed since the original post 8 months ago.

Pros of InstaGC

  • Points earned add to your instaGC balance.
  • Steady 3 point per 15 videos.

Cons of InstaGC

  • Some videos are very long.
  • Playlists will run out of videos.
  • Very low payouts.
  • Daily viewing cap (350-2000 videos)

Minimum Cash Out: $1.

Reward Processing Speed: InstaGC. Instant gift cards. Some payment methods are not instant, such as some Bitcoin payouts as well as bank transfers.

Amount You Make: This is pretty sad, actually. 20 videos = $0.01... so $0.0005 per video. Very very low. 4x lower than the average. The good news is that you can watch on 3 devices/3 windows at a time. You get paid per the video, not by the ad. That's part of the reason for why it has such shitty payouts. Another negative is that there are some really fucking long videos on their playlists. There are also daily limits to your earnings. More details on this can be found here. The good news is that there are weekly bonuses that will increase your watching from the previous week. Basically that's their safety net so they don't lose money because nobody watched any ads from the previous week. It's still nothing amazing.

Run Time: I can't get videos to play right now, so I actually can't tell you how long this will run... From my experience, you'll probably get each playlist to run for less than 2 hours before it decides to run out of videos and not automatically start over.

Overall Rating: ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆

Note: The rating is much more heavily weighted based on the videos, not as much for the rewards processing speed and minimum cash outs. The Passive videos on this site are just that bad, but at least they do have it.

GrabPoints

GrabPoints is the new ZoomBucks Hooray. They have a section on the site called 'GrabPoints TV' which will allow you to earn points watching autoplay videos.

Pros of GrabPoints

  • It's hard to think of any. Sorry.

Cons of GrabPoints

  • Very low payouts per video.
  • Sometimes doesn't credit.

Minimum Cash Out: $3. A little bit better than average.

Reward Processing Speed: Zoombucks was very slow, but it seems like GrabPoints tries to pay you within just a few days.

Amount You Make: Okay. Let's keep this simple. You will make $0.001 per video (if you get credited properly). For that reason alone, I think you should hold off on using this site, but if you insist, the videos are average length, 30 seconds - 2 minutes, but a lot of videos are 'no longer available' so that's like a weird version of an AYSW... like it's a bad site you won't make much, done here bye.

Run time: Who even cares? Don't use grabpoints TV.

KoinMe

KoinMe is a sister site of RewardRack. It acts very similar to RewardRack, but it offers a more passive viewing experience.

Pros of KoinMe

  • No ad 'soft bans'
  • Is not really a 'video' site, so it is unique.

Cons of KoinMe

  • Offers are not always available.
  • No PayPal

Minimum Cash Out: $5 after your first redemption. Average.

Reward Processing Speed: They state that it can take up to 10 days. I've heard varying numbers as to how long people are actually waiting, but it's usually seeming to take people a while to get payments.

Amount You Make: Each offer, assuming it is available, will earn you $0.01 for each completion. A completion takes you through 13 pages of a partner site, and you will remain on each page for ~35 seconds. This equates to about 8 minutes for $0.01. Usually once you complete an offer another will start up right again. If all goes well, you should be able to rake in around 5-7 cents per hour.

Run time: This is always a mixed opinion. There are no AYSWs, but there are a lot of issues that could arise. The most common issue is that the site will run out of memory or the offer will no longer be available.

VideoLab

VideoLab is a passive content explorer by OfferToro that pays you every 10-15 minutes you explore content.

Amount You Make: Currently you will have to explore content for about 13 minutes in order to get paid an average of $0.012. I have found that Earnhoney currently has the highest payouts for this offer at $0.015 per completion, but $0.011 for the mobile version. You should be able to make about 5-7 cents per hour, similarly to KoinMe. Do note that you can only complete this on one device at a time (well, one desktop and one mobile).

Run time: Without a doubt the run time of VideoLab can vary. There's a good chance that the counter will stop working at some point, or the offer will magically no longer be available. You might be unlucky and get IP banned after just a few rounds of it. I don't think I've ever seen it run longer than a few hours without needing some sort of reset.

VideoLoyalty

VideoLoyalty is a new offerwall provided by Earnhoney that allows users to earn money for multiple sites that offer the wall. The wall was first added to Earnably, and is now also available on GrindaBuck.

Pros of VideoLoyalty

  • Can be found on any site with the VideoLoyalty wall.
  • Credits directly into your site's account.

Cons of VideoLoyalty

Earnhoney pays $0.002 per ad, but you can earn currently an average of $0.012 per watches, which is higher than Earnhoney pays out on their own. Of course, this all does depend deeply on ad availability.

Run time: This site runs just as well as other Earnhoney sites. Very stable.

ToolBarTV

ToolBarTV is a site by swagbucks that allows you to watch videos passively 'in your toolbar'.

Minimum Cash Out: $5, right? I kinda forgot if Swagbucks still offers the $1 cash out option. Nobody is probably even reading this so I'm not worried at all about giving you false information.

Reward Processing Speed: Swagbucks used to be good with sending payments within a couple business days, but they are starting to take a bit longer for most people.

Amount You Make: Like the old Swagbucks TV, you will fill a percentage bar to 100% to earn SB. Each video watch will net you 4% towards the goal. After 25 watches you will earn 3 SB. It does take quite a long time to reach the $0.03, but do realize that this is a really small addon. If you use Firefox I believe you can still actually run this in your toolbar, or you can just go to the site and it doesn't take much space up. The amount you make per day is very limited because you cannot watch a single video more than once. You'll probably run out of videos after a few hours of running.

Run time: This site probably won't crash on you. It's so simple. Really the only issue that keeps this thing from running forever is the video limit. You'll eventually stop earning because of the limit.

Reward Processing Speed: Swagbucks used to be good with sending payments within a couple business days, but they are starting to take a bit longer for most people.

Amount You Make: nCraves often pay more than you could make from all of the other sites here. If you find an nCrave like this one you'll probably be earning around $0.02 every 6 or so pages you go with, so you should be able to earn 2 SB every 5 minutes or so, or around $0.24 every hour that this will run for. The pay differs from offer to offer, so check them all out. The ones with the blue circle are auto discovery.

Run time: A lot of people won't even see nCraves as an option. No activities available at this time! But if you do get one, you might get certain ones to run for longer than others, but you will need to do a lot of babysitting because a lot of these offers break along the way, or are 'no longer available' after a certain period of time.
